What is an EarHook?

This is a headset for hearing aid users. Instead of a receiver the hook placed close to the hearing aid includes a magnetic coil that transfers the sound to the aid.

Why use an EarHook?

Phone conversation using a hearing aid is not easy. The microphone is on top of the ear, not were the receiver is and touching the hearing aid with the phone generates a lot of noise.

As a result many hearing aid users take off the hearing aid for a phone conversation and then simply not put it on again!

Most DECT and GSM phones do not work at all with hearing aids in coil (T) mode. They simply disturb the Hearing Aid too much. Here a HearPlus eh340, eh344 or eh346 is a fantastic alternative.

Do I Need an Ear Hook?

Some people who use hearing aids may experience interference when using a Mobile phone whilst the hearing aid is on, If you suffer from this then an EarHook is probably the solution for you?
